Post-Jam Update
Thank you to everyone who played and provided feedback! This update provides bug fixes, a rework of the spinning mechanic, and a nerf for that one part of level two (you know the one).
The Changes
You now have much more control over how Skatie moves during a spin. You're still locked into a spin for its duration, but you can now brake and speed up. (You also now have to re-press the button, you can't just hold it in to keep spinning, to help reinforce that they're discrete actions.) No more flying off a cliff (unless you're reckless).
"Enough is enough! I have had it with these [...] snakes [falling off] this [...] plane!" - Samuel L. Jackson
Snakes no longer fall off ledges (...as frequently). In addition, they no longer get stuck spinning forever (that was a bug, sorry. Snakes can't spin, they don't have feet, let alone wheels).
Lastly, that one part of level two. Not much to say here. If it's easy for me, it's easy for everyone, right? Right?? No, hence the tweaks to this section. They should make the level much more reasonable.
The Future
I plan to put out one more update, adding a little bit of extras that I didn't get around to during the jam. Maybe a third level. I have many more ideas, however... Maybe there will be a full game somewhere down the line?
